- Shields the chuck and chip area on metal lathes with up to 12 inch chuck diameter: The hinged 18 inch wide guard keeps operators protected during turning operations while giving full access for setup. Also addresses OSHA 1910.212 lathe guarding.
- Hinged door swings open and holds itself up so both hands stay free for loading: No tools needed for workpiece loading or chuck key access. Closes and latches securely for cutting. Never needs to be removed during normal machining.
- 6061 aluminum extrusion frame with PPG OSHA Safety Orange powder coat: Mounts to existing gearbox bolt holes with no drilling. Adjustable brackets preserve the machine. Same guard transfers to a compatible lathe if you upgrade equipment.
- Clear 1/4 inch Lexan window maintains full visibility of the chuck during cuts: Impact-resistant Lexan withstands chip and coolant exposure without cracking or clouding. Also available in 12 inch wide (LG-TR3-12) for tighter installations.
- Backed by a 1-year warranty, and only the Lexan panel ever needs replacing: The 6061 aluminum frame outlasts the lathe and transfers if you upgrade. Replacement Lexan panels stocked at ATS. Interlock retrofit (LG-TR3-18-SK1) available.
